The idea for Aldeia Global Marketing was seeded nearly two decades ago. As a teenager, Aldeia's founder, Alexa Ronngren, worked long hours in her mother's small resale shop. Despite their hard work and dedication, the shop never became profitable enough to support the family, and was closed in little over a year.
By 1995, she had spent a few semesters in college, and worked a few years in sales. By a combination of chance and perseverance, she got a job as the executive assistant to the VP of Marketing for a small engineering company. That is when her boss introduced to a book that would change her life: Guerrilla Marketing by Jay Conrad Levinson.
You see, this book focused on affordable marketing strategies and techniques for small business - the knowledge that could have saved her mother's store. Alexa spent the next decade learning as much as she could about marketing. She supported senior management in several companies, including large corporations like Compaq Computers and AIG. She got a degree in Business Marketing. She earned a certification in Pricing and as a Guerrilla Marketing Coach.
Today, Aldeia Global Marketing has grown from freelance marketing services for small business to a full-service marketing consulting firm with a wide range of capabilities.
